Founders, Drs. Arvel & Bobbie Chappell

The Metaphysical Institute of Higher Learning (TMI) was founded by Drs. Arvel and Bobbie Chappell in 1994, in southern California (San Bernardino). It was Bobbie Chappell's vision to start a school where healers, mediums, and other spiritually gifted individuals could learn to develop their abilities and receive a credible degree in Metaphysics to operate and serve Humanity in this field. The Chappells, themselves a highly gifted and extraordinary couple, met in 1993, married a year later, and began putting together the State and Federal framework for TMI. TMI offers the opportunity to earn a certified Doctor of Metaphysics Degree (D.M.). Along with this degree, you earn credentials in Quantum Healing and Mediumship, and a non-denominational Minister of Metaphysics License to perform marriages and other functions of Ministry. TMI is also a nonprofit corporation and member of the Better Business Bureau. The Chappells founded a publishing company, Aldor Productions, primarily to print and publish the literature and books of TMI. Bobbie is the president of TMI; Arvel is the director. Authors of "How to Consciously Create Your Life ™", the Chappells are periodically available for lectures and seminars on virtually any topic under Metaphysics, a broad subject which each have independently studied for over 25 years. You can virtually meet the Chappells on their DVD /CD available from the Bookstore of this website.

Our Purposes

Provide a place of higher learning for individuals seeking credentials in Metaphysics (Spiritual Studies, Quantum Healing, Mediumship, Psychic Sensitivity, etc.), and a Doctor of Metaphysics Degree.

Accredit and grant Charters to Centers. These Centers will promote formalized, structured programs that will provide instruction in Personal Development, Mediumship, and Metaphysics.
